Mercury Labs Studio ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how it is stored, and your rights regarding that data.

We do not collect personal identifiers such as your full name, email address, or phone number unless you voluntarily contact us for support.

Depending on the specific app you use, we may integrate one or more of the following third-party services:

Not all services are active in every app. Each app's store listing specifies which services are in use.

Some of our apps include advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ads are only shown to free-tier users; premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience.

If an app contains no ads, this will be clearly stated in the app description. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings:

For apps featuring global leaderboards or cloud-synced content powered by Firebase:

• Your player alias (chosen by you) and score are stored in Firebase Firestore and may be visible to other users worldwide.
• Your country (entered voluntarily or inferred from device locale) may be displayed for regional filtering.
• Leaderboard data is scoped per app and per time period (Today, This Week, All Time).
• You may request deletion of your leaderboard data at any time by contacting us at hi@mercurylabsstudio.com.

• Your game progress, app settings, and language preferences are stored locally on your device using standard mobile storage mechanisms (e.g., AsyncStorage on React Native).
• This data does not leave your device unless a specific feature (such as leaderboard submission) explicitly syncs it to the cloud.
• Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data.

• All financial transactions are processed securely by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We never handle your payment details directly.
• We do not store credit card numbers, bank account information, or any financial credentials.
• Purchase validation and subscription status are managed by RevenueCat using encrypted receipt tokens only.
• Pricing varies by app and region. Refer to each app's store listing for current pricing.

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through one of our apps, please contact us immediately at hi@mercurylabsstudio.com and we will promptly delete the information.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access — Request information about what data we hold about you
• Deletion — Request deletion of your leaderboard entries or cloud data
• Opt-out — Decline leaderboard participation by not submitting scores
• Portability — Request a copy of your data in a portable format

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data. Firebase data is secured with Firestore security rules. Purchase data is handled entirely by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat — all of which maintain industry-standard security certifications.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our apps evolve. We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document when changes are made. Continued use of our apps after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

By downloading, installing, or using any application published by Mercury Labs Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our apps.

• Free users receive a limited number of plays, sessions, or credits as specified within each individual app.
• Free users may have access to leaderboards with some restrictions on score submission.
• Free users in applicable apps will see advertisements served by Google AdMob.

• Payments are charged to your Apple or Google account at the time of purchase confirmation.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Play Store settings.
• Unused portions of any free trial period are forfeited upon upgrading to a paid plan.
• All refunds are subject to Apple App Store and Google Play Store refund policies. Mercury Labs Studio does not directly process refunds.

All content within Mercury Labs Studio applications — including but not limited to game mechanics, artwork, UI design, sound effects, written lore, quiz content, learning materials, and brand assets — is the exclusive intellectual property of Mercury Labs Studio.

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or redistributing any part of our apps is strictly prohibited.
• Cloud-hosted content (including seasonal data, quiz banks, and learning content stored on Firebase) is proprietary and may not be extracted, scraped, or reproduced.
• The Mercury Labs Studio name, logo, and product names are trademarks of Mercury Labs Studio.

By using our apps, you agree not to:

• Manipulate leaderboard scores or rankings through unauthorized means.
• Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or modified clients to interact with our apps or backend services.
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities for unfair advantage. (We encourage responsible disclosure — please report issues to hi@mercurylabsstudio.com.)
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Firebase databases, RevenueCat APIs, or any other backend infrastructure.
• Use our apps in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

Our apps are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the apps will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mercury Labs Studio shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data resulting from device failure, unauthorized modification (rooting or jailbreaking), or operating system updates.
• Temporary unavailability of Firebase services affecting leaderboard or cloud-sync functionality.
• Loss of app progress or purchases if the app is uninstalled or the device is reset.
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of our apps.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our apps at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

These Terms of Service are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Mercury Labs Studio operates. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation before any formal legal proceedings are initiated.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Effective Date." Your continued use of our apps after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
